Every day I drive hundreds of miles around Scotland's roads, I record interesting places and roads that I have travelled, I also record some of the erratic driving behaviour we all encounter these days. I don't claim to be a perfect driver, but compared to some of the things I see day to day I am certainly not the worst. Sometimes I just see very funny things and fluff up the recording, like the one where the farmer sticks a stray sheep on the ATV and then to keep it in place sits on it, you have to look closely to see the head of the sheep underneath the farmers backside.

The old road surface brings back memories, I remember the state of the roads at that time, now it’s all been resurfaced

It’s Called Kilmichael Glassary, not St Michael Glassary
My grandparents (Mackintosh) lived at Drumguish cottage a hundred years ago. My father was born there too 🥰
The left side drive at 2:42 leads up to my Grannie’s house!

The road has a lot of pot holes!!!!!
If it is , it use to be called the old Bell house. & OR Blarachorine House too.
That looks like the back of our old home on the left side. :)
Is that the High road ? I use to live in Blairmore! :)
I use to live in Blairmore, at the Blarachorine House. I think it has been turned into apartments. :) Do U have a vid of the High Road too?
Lovely place for a holiday, great scenery , and wonderful people.
I live in muthill and comrie
This is heartbreaking. When I was a wee boy my parents and Grandparents had chalets in these very grounds. There were loads of them. Then some company came in and forced everyone off the land.
Mainsriddle is not featured., Already passed.

Magic place as a kid my family would come here on holiday ah the memories
in the process of planning a trip there next year - just wondering where all the palm trees are?
The village is Carsethorn. Just east of Kirkbean and north of Southerness.
Have they got wi-fi in Darvel yet??
I’m assuming you’re talking about Virgin Media.
Probably made worse by you driving at 40mph on a 70 mph road???
It's 50mph and not that difficult to figure out, but haters gotta be haters.
Ironically will be coming here in the Autumn time with some family. Cant believe the affordability of this place if you book well in advance too. Got a really amazing price for a short weekend stay and right the the foot of Ben Nevis. 20 minutes from Glenfinnan Viaduct, and 40 miles South of Loch Ness. Honestly its all you can ask for this place.
You need to re-title this, "Two miles before Dalmellington to one mile after Dalmellington and in no way does it go anywhere near Loch Doon"

I used to live in the house where the first car is as you come down the hill I used to slide down when it was snow or ice. I used to play football on the left side where you stopped the video and my mum used to shout us from the house when our tea was ready from the park on the right hand side and I used to get the bus to Guildtown primary then later on Perth academy. Thank you for this video I may have needed it more than I thought. 🙏👌
It is so nice when good memories are triggered from something like this,. Glad you enjoyed it.
1970 the white house on the left was a shop, and the first house on the right was a tearoom 🤔 my first visit was 1967 seen a whale jumping 😊
You just parked outside where we used to live! No5 Glentrool x
